Frog Paper Craft

Frog Paper Craft

This frog craft is perfect for preschool and kindergarten kiddos. It’s a great way to let them practice scissor skills. But, you can precut the pieces for kids who aren’t ready to do it on their own.

What You’ll Need

• heavy white cardstock

• scissors

• green and red construction paper

• paper of your choice for background

• glue

• black marker

• bakers twine (or yarn).

What You’ll Do

Print the provided frog template on heavy white cardstock. 

Cut out the eyes and the fly; set aside.

Cut out the frog body, legs, and tongue.

Use a pencil to trace the cardstock frog body and legs on green construction paper and cut them out.

Trace the cardstock tongue piece on red construction paper and cut it out.

Glue the green body parts onto the bottom of any paper you choose (construction, scrapbook, or even white printer paper will do!)

Next, take your cardstock eyeballs and glue them on top of the green frog body (play around with the eyeballs, turn them whichever way you like).

Using a black marker, draw a mouth on your frog and then glue the red tongue on.

Cut a 12” piece of bakers twine and position it in little loops above your frog.

When you have it how you like it, place a thin line of glue right above the string and then scooch the string into the glue path.

Glue the cardstock fly down to the background paper right at the end of the string; let dry.
