Dinosaur Preschool Theme

We have a blast every time we explore a new dinosaur preschool theme! My kids love to learn all about these prehistoric creatures.

We read books, do crafts, play games, and even pretend to be dinosaurs! Here are some of the activities we’ve done as part of our dinosaur theme…

Dinosaur Crafts for Kids

There are so many fun crafts you can do with kids as part of a dinosaur theme. Here are a few of our favorites…

  • Dinosaur Fossil Cookies – Kids will love making (and eating) their own dinosaur fossils! All you need is some cookie dough and some small toys to use as “fossils.”
  • Dinosaur Footprints – This is a fun way to learn how dinosaurs move around. You can make your dinosaur footprints with little dinosaurs and some paint!
  • Dinosaur Eggs – We painted our dinosaur eggs and hid them around the house for a fun Easter-style egg hunt.

Pretend to be Dinosaurs!

One of the best parts about learning about dinosaurs is that you can pretend to be them! We love to make dinosaur noises and act like we’re living in the time of the dinosaurs. It’s so much fun!

Do you have a favorite dinosaur preschool theme activity? I’d love to hear about it in the comments!
