Flower Life Cycle Slider

This flower life cycle slider is a fun way for preschoolers to review the life cycle. Kids can use the slider to retell the stages to a friend or classmate.

As you begin teaching preschoolers about flowers, I have some great resources to help you teach about the life cycle of a flower. Kids will love learning how a tiny seed can turn into a beautiful flower.

Add this free preschool printable to your spring, summer, flower, or life cycle activities.

Flower Life Cycle Slider

This one-page flower life cycle activity is perfect for preschool and kindergarten kiddos.

Because it’s a print-and-go activity, it’s perfect for busy preschool moms and teachers.

To use this activity page, print one for each student. Have children color the life cycle images at the bottom of the page as well as the “flower life cycle” label.

Cut out the life cycle strip at the bottom of the page. Keep it intact as one long strip.

Now, cut two slits in the center of the circle. Have students thread the strip from back to front and then from front to back through the second slot.

Once your child has assembled the flower life cycle slider, have your child slide the strip from left to right to describe the stages in order from seed to flower.
