This no-prep activity pack is perfect for teaching sequencing. Just print the pages, and you’re all set. Have your child choose a worksheet to start with. Discuss the theme – going fishing, for example. 

Ask them to identify the first picture of that story. Then, orally discuss everything they would do to complete the activity. For instance, to go fishing they’d first need to gather their supplies. Then, they’ll thread the hook with a worm before casting their line into the water. Hopefully, in the end, they end up with a fish. 

Once your child can tell the story in order, have them number the images in order from 1-4. Then, they can color the pictures if they’d like. 

Extension Activity:

Older preschoolers or kindergarteners may enjoy retelling the story. If so, let them write (or dictate to you) the story on the back of the worksheet.
