Turkey Paper Bag Craft
This turkey bag craft is a fun, hands-on way for kids to celebrate Thanksgiving while building creativity and fine motor skills. With just a few simple materials, they’ll transform an ordinary paper bag into a colorful turkey friend, complete with vibrant feathers and a cheerful face. Let’s start by gathering our supplies and diving into this easy, festive project!
What You’ll Need
- Pattern Template (sign in or sign up at the very bottom of this post)
- Printer paper or cardstock
- Paper lunch bag
- Scissors
- Glue

What You’ll Do
Print the pattern and cut out the pieces as noted.

Assemble seven feathers by layering the three sizes. Glue them together.

Paste the feathers onto the bottom flap of your bag in a fan shape.

Glue the head piece onto the flap over the feathers.

Glue the chest feathers and legs onto the body piece.

Then, glue this onto the bag and slide it a little under the head flap.

Finish off by adding the snood to the head first, then layer the beak and the eyes last.

Once everything is glued in place, let the turkey dry for a few minutes. Now, it’s ready to be displayed as a festive Thanksgiving decoration!

Materials
- Pattern Template
- Printer paper or cardstock

- Glue
Instructions
- Print the pattern and cut out all pieces as directed.
- Create seven feathers by stacking the three feather sizes in layers and gluing them together.
- Glue the feathers in a fan shape on the bottom flap of your paper bag.
