Begin by cutting a potato in half width-wise.
Pour a generous amount of yellow paint on a
flat surface. We like to use paper plates.
Now, get your cards ready by cutting cardstock
to size. We used small squares of two different colors of blue cardstock. You can get 4 small squares out of one sheet of cardstock. But you can use any size
card you’d like.
Next, dip the cut end of the potato in the
yellow paint. Make sure it’s covered completely.
Stamp the potato on the card.
Once all the bees are stamped, let the paint
dry completely.
Then, glue googly eyes in position on the
bees.
Use the black marker to draw antennas.
Use the black and/or white marker to draw
heart shaped wings, too.
After making sure the paint from the stamp is
completely dry, use the black marker to also draw lines across the bee.
Finally, write your BEE mine message on the bottom of
the cards.
