Begin by painting the clothespins a nice, warm brown color. While the paint is still wet, sprinkle on some glitter to give Rudolph’s antlers a festive sparkle. Set them aside to dry completely.
Take a wood slice and glue two googly eyes near the top center to make Rudolph’s eyes. Just below the eyes, glue on a red jingle bell (or red pom-pom) to be Rudolph’s shiny nose.
Once the clothespins are dry, clip or glue two to the top of each wood slice to look like antlers. Make sure they’re secure so they can stay in place when you hang the ornament.
Cut a piece of twine and fold it in half. Glue the two ends of the twine onto the back of the wood slice, creating a loop at the top for hanging. Let it dry thoroughly.
Allow everything to dry completely, and your Rudolph ornament is ready! Hang it on the tree and enjoy the special holiday sparkle it brings.
