Fingerprint Fall Tree

Celebrate autumn with a charming fingerprint fall tree craft that lets preschoolers create colorful “leaves” using their fingerprints and natural twigs as branches. This hands-on activity is perfect for exploring fall colors and textures while building fine motor skills!

Materials

  • Twigs
  • Ink pads
  • Glue
  • Cardstock

Instructions

  • Start by gluing the sticks onto the cardstock to form the branches of a tree. Let the glue dry completely.
  • Once the tree is ready, press a fingertip onto an ink pad, then dab around the branches to add colorful “leaves.” Remember to wipe your fingers between colors to keep the ink pads clean.
  • Keep adding fingerprint leaves until the tree is complete. Let the artwork dry when finished, then proudly display your preschooler’s beautiful fall creation!
