Preschool Easter Egg Art

This preschool Easter egg art is perfect for helping little ones strengthen fine motor skills while they create this open-ended art project.

Materials

  • Washable craft paint orange, yellow
  • Plastic Chick Easter Eggs
  • Paper plate
  • White paper
  • 2 clothespins
  • Pom poms
  • Craft feathers

Instructions

  • Gather a handful of plastic Easter eggs. Break the eggs open so you have two halves.
  • Pour washable paint onto a paper plate. You will want to pour enough for the egg to fit on. Leave space between colors.
  • Dip the egg into each paint color.
  • Print the egg onto the paper, creating paint circles around the paper.
  • Repeat the steps above and create as many circles on the paper.
  • Place the pom poms on the clothespins. Dip the clothespins in the paint and dab the pom poms onto the paper.
  • Use the feathers to paint the excess paint. 
  • Set aside to dry.
  • Display!
