Materials

  • white paper plate
  • black craft paint
  • black pipe cleaners
  • hole punch
  • googly eyes
  • paint brush
  • scissors
  • glue

Instructions

  • Paint the paper plate black. Set the plate aside, and allow it to dry. If you’d prefer a no-mess craft, you can use a black paper plate.
  • Once the paper plate is dry, use the hole punch to punch four holes on each side of the plate. Space the holes apart about 1-2 inches.
  • Cut the pipe cleaners in half. Place a pipe cleaner in each hole, and secure the pipe cleaner to the plate. Twist the end of the pipe cleaner around itself.
  • Bend the pipe cleaner toward the end to finish the legs for the spider.
  • Glue two eyes at the top of the paper plate.
