  • cardstock
  • green yarn
  • styrofoam balls
  • scissors
  • craft glue
  • paint

Instructions

  • Select a sheet of green cardstock.
  • Trace the pattern from the template and cut it out.
  • Leaving the curved end intact, roll the straight ends to make a cone with your cardstock.
  • Place the cone on a flat surface and cover it with glue.
  • start wrapping the cone from the top to the bottom with your yarn.
  • Wrap and gently press the yarn onto the cone to ensure it sticks as you move down the cone.
  • Keep wrapping the cone until you reach the bottom.
  • At the end, cut the yarn and glue the end to secure it to the cone.
  • While the glue dries, paint a handful of styrofoam balls. If you don't have styrofoam, you can also use pom poms.
  • Apple small dots of glue to the cone where you'd like to add the decorations.
  • Use the template to cut out some stars. When the glue is dry, glue a star to the top of the tree.
